Peter Wileman ~ Orange Horizon
tantalizing and intoxicating
sitting there at the edge of sleep
is a seductive glimmer
seen through diaphanous veils
that part just enough to tempt
to invite, to mystify

waving and undulating
in fractured half-light,
it transports banished desires
forward to the boundary where
they wait to be gathered once again
to take the form of dreams

  1. that moment between "here" and sleep, always a mystery.
    you have caught it's essence.
